Deafusical - Musical Theatre

in 2008 Music and the Deaf Started our "Deafusical" Project - an exciting new project in musical theatre.

The project includes Music, dance & drama, as well as backstage roles such as lighting, costume set design and stage management.

It is a fantastic opportunity for young deaf people, aged 10 to 25, to be creative and to showcase their talents.

The project has been running every two weeks on Saturday mornings from 10am till 12noon at The Carriageworks, Leeds. This is a wonderful performing arts venue.

"Deafusical" will continue (funding permitting) from September 2008 to July 2009. The project will conclude with a major performance by an entirely deaf cast and crew.
